The lowest parts of the dry seabed of Equus (i.e. of the Lowlands), and the only to still contain significant surface water. The trenches are not a very attractive environment for little ponies and are poorly explored. Trench Whales emerge from them at night, and they are the habitat of other, more dangerous creatures as well.
