As with other dynasties of the Earth Kingdom, the Great Ri compiled detailed records of each monarch's reign. Despite their disdain of their immediate predecessor, the Hao Ting dynasty has preserved and maintained the Veritable Records of the Great Ri, much as the Ri Dynasty preserved the records of the Ting and their other predecessors. The originals are kept in the archives of the Ministry for Cultural Preservation, in Ba Sing Se, but copies can be found elsewhere (including in the possession of the imperial Nara clan in exile in the Hanwang Desert.)
