A heavenly body visible in the sky of Equus. Its nature is obscure to astronomers and subject of a variety of learned speculation. It is worshiped as the Great Eye, the Watcher and the Judge, by a new pony religious movement called “the [[Overseen]].” Its distinctive appearance and movement are readily recognizable, making it a boon to nocturnal navigation, if one has an appropriate chart.

For centuries, the Boreal Eye orbited [[Equus]] every two hours and fifty-six minutes. Its orbit was inclined 85°45’30” to the equator. However, its orbit has recently changed.

The party discovered that the Boreal Eye was actually the [[Harmony]], a huge pre-catastrophic spacecraft left in orbit around Equus.
