Background Raised by criminals in Deslov, Sanguine was shaped into becoming a gang enforcer preying on superstition and fear of vulps. When her adoptive father and gang boss was caught and executed, she got off with only a few years forced labour, a punishment her community thought didn’t match the crime, and she felt she didn’t deserve in the first place. She moved to Khoms to start with a clean slate, but without any demand for her skill in magic due to superstition and fear, ended up returning to a life of crime. Sanguine joined the expedition in hopes that working for respected nobles would make her more socially accepted.
