A bushwoolie is a bipedal, heavily furred sentient creature. They live in extensive underground burrows and are generally friendly, but stupid. Although simple-minded, they are kind and cooperative. Contrary to rumors, they do not spread hantavirus.

Bushwoolie wool is a valuable commodity, but because of the cultural importance of their wool, they rarely sell it outside of very warm climates. Buyers of Bushwoolie wool should make sure that it is ethically sourced, and is not the product of fly-by-night, forcible shearing operations.

Bushwoolies are not generally hazardous, but if provoked in sufficient numbers, they can suffocate enemies, and are sometimes known to curl into a ball and bounce as a defense mechanism. They have, on occasion, been observed to altruistically leap into the throats of large predators and choke them to death.
