<> A settlement on Hayminnow Island. It was once the main focus of the [[Hayminnow|hayminnow]] canning industry. With the extinction of that species and the fall of the oceans, Canner City became a virtual ghost town in the [[Dark Age]]. It was excavated and restored under the leadership of Duke Mbaran starting in 3075, and it is now once again a major population center of the Hayminnow Islands. The restoration included the rebuilding of [[Hayminnow University]], explicitly intended to rival the [[Eastern Ponyland University]] in [[Docktown]].
