A Draconequus is a member of an elder race of immortal beings, legendary spirits of chaos about which little is confidently known. Stories describe them as being extremely powerful and unpredictable, and they are accordingly dangerous; they should be avoided if possible. Luckily, if any exist in the present age, they are apparently vanishingly rare. They were a very popular motif in Classical statuary for unclear reasons, given their uniformly negative portrayal in the writings of that period.
