A means of long-range written communication between dragons. Breathing magical fire on a scroll or other similar lightweight, flat, flammable object, the object is transported rapidly through a subspace of reality to the recipient, who must usually also be a dragon. The original is sent, not a facsimile. The sender must usually know the name of the recipient and his or her appearance (a photograph or realistic painting suffices); dragons exceptionally skilled in dragon-mail may be able to bypass this requirement, e.g. Exceptionally Sharp Thagomizer, the dragon-postmaster of New Equestria.
