Eldritch Lore: Eldritch Lore
Isle of Tears : GM Isle of Tears
reincarnated Eldritch's cutie-mark is ultraviolet-colored, as is her magic aura. The cutie mark appears black to deep purple. This will be important potentially during the fight with Risen Bones. Perhaps only Gabrio could see it?
The coaling station was an Equestrian navy facility ("Royal Equestrian Fleet"), the Isle of Tears being leased to Equestria by Ponyland, hence why it is not on the Isle of Yore.
Eldritch's soul was eaten by various members of the Dread Pantheon at the time of her execution by them.
But pony souls are not very digestible (including hers, despite her lack of moral fiber) and most of Eldritch's sat in En-Netsusep's psychic gut until his death during the Catastrophe, upon which it was released. However, not being complete, it could not pass on to the afterlife. Given that the other parts were also incorporated into powerful and indefinitely-living beings (members of the Dread Pantheon), this was problematical for the Shade of EL.
After a promising early start in the Equestria was brought to an end in 2089 (by an elderly Firebug and her coreligionists, though the former did not survive the battle; the fire-worshippers the became one of the last groups to flee to Bluestar's tower before the rise of the cloister), EL started haunting a succession of necromancers in the far Northeast of the Isle of Yore, inspiring a breeding program that would result in the production of a compatible host pony. This was recently accomplished under the lich Risen Bones, who successfully saw EL reincarnated into an alicorn fetus fathered by White Eyes in early 3320. EL dispatched Risen Bones in 3332, and has taken over completely, retaining his animated skeleton (now her puppet) as a figurehead while pretending to be a young librarian.
The fetus of course provides the missing pieces of Eldritch's soul, so if Elly dies, Eldritch can go to the afterlife now, albeit as a somewhat better person.
White Eyes is disturbed by the situation, and has avoided the coaling station, acting as his "master's" agent on the Isle of Yore proper. He does not know Risen was dispatched by EL (Now going by the name Elite Librarian "Please, call me "Elly," it's an awkward sort of name...")
Elly has a coltfriend, Flint Spark (born 3320), and a biological older brother, Able Librarian (b. 3314), a pegacorn. Flint Spark's older sister, Grape Spark, (b. 3310) who is distrustful of Elly.
Grape knows Elly was born with a cutie mark. (She also was very easy to potty train)

EL Battle: initially, she will continue to impersonate Risen Bones if applicable, the party might or might not notice her lurking nearby during the confrontation. Her magic aura is invisible (ultraviolet) except possibly to Gabrio (a bird might see UV?)

- Dread Necromancer Risen Bones, Lord of Tears. A unicorn lich resident in an old fort / coaling station on the Isle of Tears, he leads a solitary and ageless existence, largely unbothered by anypony else. Though a very able mage, he prefers to defend his territory through minions, as the great tradeoff of being an undead mage in the PRPG universe is the inability to convert mundane metabolic energy into magical energy, and does not wish to drain himself.
