The Hill Country is a region of the [[Isle of Yore]] North of the [[Western Dusts]], generally considered to extend North from the [[Dusty Mountains Pass]] to the [[Hoofmount]], and East from the former coast to the [[Dusty Mountains]], but including their Western foothills. Before the [[Catastrophe]], it was a fairly populous [[agriculture|agricultural]] region, with the city of [[Crystal Beach]] being the major urban center. 

The Hill Country was devistated by drought and the growth of the [[Crystal Forest]] during the [[Dark Age]].
