The Hill Country is a region of the Isle of Yore North of the Western Dusts, generally considered to extend North from the Dusty Mountains Pass to the Hoofmount, and East from the former coast to the Dusty Mountains, but including their Western foothills. Before the Catastrophe, it was a fairly populous agricultural region, with the city of Crystal Beach being the major urban center.
The Hill Country was devistated by drought and the growth of the Crystal Forest during the Dark Age.
