A settlement in the Eastern Dusts, the oldest on the Isle of Yore, dated by Golden Age archaeologists to the pre-classical era. Its first inhabitants were the indigenous boars of the Isle of Yore. The site was named by pony polemicists in the Classical Era who wished to promote the idea that its ancient ruins were built by the ancestors of ponies, thereby legitimizing the equid colonization of the Isle of Yore.

Note that the lord of Straw Dale usually lives in his or her townhouse in Horsehenge, rather than in the old baronial castle in Straw Dale, which is usually occupied by a favored relative appointed the Knight-Keeper of the Waters. The current baroness is Autumn Sun.

Horsehenge is serviced by the Docktown Railroad.
