A legendary race of bipedal ape-like creatures with a very fine, almost invisible coat and no tail. Their manes extended down the sides of their heads and they posessed dexterous hands. Scholars since the [[Royal Age]] have debated the substance behind the legends of these creatures, if indeed there is any. Scanty and ambiguous archaeological evidence was purportedly found in [[Dream Valley]] in [[Ponyland]] by [[Golden Age]] investigators; any remaining efforts were terminated by the [[Catastrophe]].
