Mother-of-the-Gills is a deity of the [[Dread Pantheon]]. Uncommonly worshiped in 704 AE, her adopted pony son [[Adorable, Bilaterally Symmetrical Quadruped]] wed a sentient fish princess and gave rise to the Second Race of Sea Ponies. She accordingly became the usual target for the veneration of that species, at least in the [[Dread Dimensions]].
