The Southern Continent is one of the two great landmasses of the known world, the Selt. It is actually separated into two sub-continents by the Straits of Baraath, and into four major regions geographically as described below.
Northwestern Subcontinent
The Western Throne of Atsef, the Great Empire of Atsef, the Heghomic Far Southwest, the Piratical Holdings, the Rebel Provinces of the Great Empire (not a unified polity), the Pagan Kensus.
Eastern Subcontinent
Western Region
The Eastern Throne of Atsef, the Kingdom of South Bel, the Murinal Empire (i.e. Greater Murina) and various minor Murinal Principalities.
Great Deserts
The Ten Thousand Tribes (not a unified polity), the Aelian Conquests, the Kingdom of Stohomon, the Tribal Confederacy allied with it.
Eastern Peninsula
The Exarchy of Demet, the Exarchy of Nira, the Free Peoples (not a unified polity), County Aenso, the Republic of Celdabanc, The Sixty Tribes, the Port Saire Free State.
