Had a relationship in school that went bad and ended in her ex-girlfriend being expelled. She's a light brown pegasus, dark brown mane, with a trilby cutie mark. Her name is Moxie Mocha, also going by the nickname 'Dirty' for her brown coat, roughhousing, and underhandedness.

“There are a number of things I can envision Star Struck doing that might be interesting.

1. Expanding on her relationship with Dawn. Star Struck looks up to her as an authority figure and tries to gain her approval, but is frustrated at her secrecy. Dawn taking her for granted, or pulling rank to pressure her to do things she doesn’t like wouldn’t really change how she looks at Dawn, though it could serve to cause friction with the rest of the party if that is the goal. Star Struck could also serve as a confidant to her, as she is used to hearing ponies’ secrets.

2. The possible return on Luna. Star Struck believes her dream hinting at Luna’s return was a message. She wants to know the origin of the pony she heard in that dream. She’s also concerned about the possibility of a traitor working to prevent that, with Clean Whistle’s murky story and the coincidence of her finding the circle peaking her interest. She would like to prod Clean Whistle for more information on where she stands, and other ponies in the party and the research team.

3. Reconcile with Mocha Moxy. Working her into the story is perhaps a bit challenging without leaving Sickle Island, although depending on how she ended up that might not be too difficult. If a criminal, she might have been a stowaway on Sea Legs’ ferry or hiding from the law on Sickle Island. If a guard or soldier, she might be added security Dawn/Dr. Hour brought in after the Clean Whistle thing. But regardless, she’d be a perfect catalyst for trouble, as Star Struck feels she owes her after how she got kicked out of boarding school. Moxy in turn would be one to use that to her advantage, and humiliate and belittle Star Struck. Star would treat it as a personal challenge to reform and soften Moxy, and make amends. She might succeed, or have to draw the line if it’s causing the party too many problems.

4. Reconnect with her lost family. Her father walked out on them when Star was a foal, so she wouldn’t recognise him. He’s also not likely to be on Sickle Island, but somewhere in some other place in the modern time. Her brother is likely living in the Nickerby/New Canterlot area, so neither of them are going to show up unless/until the party travels someplace else than Sickle Island. Star’s brother, though, would be interested in knowing where his father ended up, so these are related. Star’s mother, though not lost to Star Struck, would want to see her son happy and reconnect with her, since the two of them didn’t have a strong bond and she feels she let him down. Anything Star Struck can do in these matters are a project she could devote herself to.”

He's never dated anyone, but that's not something he's necessarily hiding, but he wouldn't bring it up on his own. His guilty pleasure is a book series for young girls that he claims to only read to his niece for her benefit, but secretly he enjoys them more than she does. The book series is Filly Sitters Club. He promised his niece that he would read the book while he was away so they could talk about it when he gets back, he does this often when he goes on his trips. He really loves his niece.

She heavily believes herself a successful "teenage rebel" who threw her defiance of her strict parents in their face and then pranced off on her own path. More personal would be that she bears some very mixed feelings knowing she's one of the indirect descendants of the RBO eugenic program, her parents both consider it something interesting and impressive to their ancestry, but Burdy doesn't particularly have a high regard for magical talents and places a higher priority on what she considers more "cultivated" talents than those given in a genetic lottery. “Basically she feels that the pride towards that was a little stupid since she considers intelligence and trained physical prowess to be far more important and sees the eugenics as more than a few of her ancestors wasting their lives. But she also doesn't dwell on that too much, while it is a present part of her character, it's a bit too internalized to occupy a lot of conscious thought, but it is something I plan to draw out as part of her character development. More adventurous might be that she got kicked out of the first town she bartended in. She found a small town that didn't ask too many questions. and she was more or less an adult at the time so she was able to get a job at the tavern and eventually work her way up to serving as bartender for a brief stint. It was made brief because an experimental flaming shot accidentally combined with a spilled magical potion resulting in a flaming booze golem that burned the tavern to the grounds and destroyed more than a few other buildings as well. She didn't exactly bother to wait around and skipped town immediately after causing a creature of living alcohol to go on a rampage.”
