This is the character page for the new episodic campaign "Rodent Investigative Service." It is a reboot of the original one-offs of the same name and does not share continuity with them, though some of the general concepts are reused. It is also a sort of spiritual successor to the original hicu-rpg.

Characters are members of a private investigator firm who are rodents (for the implications, see the setting information.) Although they do not have to be classic "Private Eye" characters, they should have skills and inclinations that are likely to involve fieldwork rather than staying at the office. Characters should not be of a cowardly nature and should have motivations inclining them toward active participation in the activities of the firm, but beyond that, they can have any personalities and backgrounds you like, consistent with the setting.

Whenever a one-off is required in this setting, the participants' characters will be assigned to one of the firm's cases, with the expectation being that the case, or at least some discrete goal relating to a case, will be resolved during the single session.
