Background

Hanna is a childhood friend of Chief Belka. Hanna's father was the household tutor. She married young and they fell out of contact when she returned with her husband to his homeland, the Republic of Pojoimaa. Occasional letters ceased after the outbreak of the Great War, and Mick received news, clouded by the fog of war, that Hanna and her entire family had perished as a result of the conflict. However, she actually was the sole survivor among her family, and has recently reappeared in Simha City, requesting Mick's assistance getting reestablished there.

Despite their long separation, she does have some common interests with Chief Belka, such as chess, mathematical puzzles, and not discussing the specifics of their activities during the late war.

Hanna was observed to be surprisingly athletic, and capable of cold-blooded violence, executing the disgraced blackmailer Rico after modest persuasion by Coco.
