Red Ink was a unicorn stallion. His coat colour was blue with his mane brown.
He was born under extraordinary circumstances in the Dread Dimensions to Revolution Rosie and Pen Nib. After winning a challenge from the draconequis Dissonant Continuity, Rosie wished for a foal by her marefriend Pen Nib, with whom she was incompatible. Using chaos magic, Red Ink was immaculately conceived with Pen Nib's DNA, his development accellerated to have his mother be in her third trimester instantly. Soon after, Red Ink was born as a seemingly healthy unicorn stallion. He was raised by both his parents upon their return to Equestria from the Dread Dimension.
