On the first floor, there is a kitchen, bakery, pantry, privies, a bath, scullery, and a large common room with a bar. On the second story are twenty-four guest rooms and a sitting room. The roof is flat and accessible. The inn is located on the cliffside at the southernmost extremity of the Edge. The ponies there may sing [[Ode to the Old Trench Whale|a whaling song of some kind.]] The common room is lit by a fireplace and trench-whale oil lamps. [[Jade Jubilee]] is staying upstairs in room #18, alone (unusually, most of the rooms have two beds and 2-4 occupants. Jade's room has two beds, but she's only using one.) She comes down to the common room at sundown for dinner, but otherwise stays in the sitting room upstairs, as she prefers the quiet. However, on the day of 18 Corn, Jade is off trying to find books to read, having become very bored, and may be harder to find depending on the time of day when the players look for her. |
