The Northernmost of the Hayminnow islands in the Ocean of Dreams, Southeast of the Isle of Yore. Shield Island is a volcanic island notable geologically for its southwestern coast, which features a stretch of exceptionally steep cliffs. It contains one major settlement, the town of Lope, and the village of Fertile Mountain.
