A village in the [[Red Mountain]] valley of the Eastern Dusts. It is an isolated colony for the sufferers of the incurable disease [[hoofrot]]. It is closed to everypony except those with the disease and those who take care of them; the [[House of the Watcher among the Stricken]], a tiny monastery and shrine, is there. (Most of the monastics are hoofrot sufferers from other places.) The valley is agriculturally self-sufficient, and supports itself by the efforts of wandering mendicants and the production of craft items, which are sold from the roads. The population is 244.
