Lord Steel Spark, 3343-?, pegacorn stallion. Grew up mostly in Nevershyed while New Ponylon was being constructed. Moved to Straw Dale as an adult, preferring to avoid court life. The product of a somewhat chaotic childhood, he became something of a black sheep. Though highly intelligent and charismatic, he shunned politics and became a railroad engineer. Steel fathered a very impressive fourteen foals, by three different mares living along the route of the Northern Friendship Railway, all of whom were under the impression that they were his only wife. (One was his legal wife, the other two were common-law wives.) When his duplicity was eventually revealed - after a surprising number of years - scandal blemished the reputation of the family and ended up affecting its finances as well, as [[Flint Spark]] promised that he and [[Princess Nova]] would pay for the education of all of their grandfoals. Became a government wizard (Magistrate of the Archmagical Sconce of the Isle of Yore) and retired to be near her relatives in the Yore Valley Barony region. She integrated with her mother's family (the Pin Noble House) and married another local noble relatively late in life, they had one child.


The Lady Sooty Spark 3372-3534, a unicorn, grew up to be a mechanical engineer (attending the University of Eastern Ponyland on her grandparents' dime.)
