<> Sparkle City is a pre-catastrophic city which was mostly abandoned until the 30th century AE. Sparkle City, despite the name, is actually a comparatively rural town. Some of the ruins of the ancient city are still visible, although they are mostly covered in dust and soil. It is home to the [[Radiance Magic College]] in Sparkle City, an [[Magic College|institution]] that stayed open throughout the [[Dark Age]]. Sparkle City is nominally subject to the Straw Dale Barony, but the [[Baron of Straw Dale]] appoints its mayor and officials based on the results of democratic elections. Sparkle City has held the rotating presidency of the [[Confederation of Cities]] since 3333 AE.
