The ponies on the AEC:
Lt. Lofty Loam. Pegasus (batpony subtype, using a disguise talisman) stallion. He is from Maretonia and served in its air force before becoming a line officer of the UOIC at the time he was stored in suspended animation on the Harmony. He was 'defrosted' by Risen Bones Organization. He is admittedly a very poor cook. Lofty had a wife, Azure Skies, who was killed in the Discordian war, and two children, who were living with relatives in the country at the time of En-Netsusep's return.
May Flower, a unicorn mare. She is from Equestria, specifically the city of Pebble. She likes flowers and hummingbirds, and is a navigational assistant. (Though she is currently also the helmsmare of the AEC most of the time.) She is somewhat reserved but has a mischievous streak that occasionally manifests itself
Rusty Clutch, an earth pony stallion, a junior engineering officer from the Harmony itself who is now working on the AEC. His special talent is fixing things, unsurprisingly. He has known Lofty for a long time and they attended UIOC Officer's School together. He was best stallion at Lofty's wedding. He has apparently never been married.
Oily Feathers, a pegasus stallion. He is a mechanic and apparently also takes care of the auxiliary machinery of the AEC. His special talent is robotics. He is from Western Ponyland originally, though he also mentioned having been in the Maretonian Air Force.
Golden Twinkle, a unicorn mare, is a specialist in "magical power systems," and is part of the engineering crew on the AEC. Her foalhood dream was to be an astronaut; she describes the reality, probably understating, as "different than I expected."
