Skills: Aptitude with plants and Herbs (especially those viable for fermentation/distilling into beverages of an alcoholic nature), Alchemy (Especially where drinks are concerned), Quick Reader with a knack for languages, a killer right hoof (prefers to use a truncheon or club though), a reservoir of embarrassing bar stories, and a naturally thick skull.
Faults: Horrible singing voice, once caused paint to peel, lower than average flight skills, tendency to ignore authority, and extremely reduced sense of smell due to prologned alchemy work.
Appearance: Wears her mane in a tight braid pinned up when doing messy work. Her mane, tail, and wings are constantly messed with "petals" from her flight trail even when a long period of time has passed since flight. Petals look like small thin dandelion type petals in multiple pastel colors, they disintegrate on even the slightest pressure into dust. Wears close cropped fetlocks primarily for hygiene reasons.
Bio: Burdy, as she is often known is not the direct product of an eugenics scheme, but is a few generations removed from some who had participated under RBO's scheme. Her parents moved out to one of the villages working to reestablish agricultural resources due to the father's aptitude at crop magic and the mother's extensive botanical studies. When it was determined that Burdy had the same great earthpony magic potential of her father it was hoped that she would follow her parents example. However she had in a few years become infatuated with the stories of some of the wonders worked by the alchemetical genius of the bearers and pursued that interest instead. Internally Burdy visualized herself as rebelling against the wishes of restrictive parenting, all the moreso when she discovered some wonderful drinks through alchemy and began to fantasize about tending bar. In reality her parents while somewhat disappointed were eager to see her successful and happy even if it did not end with what they expected. Following this sort of teenage rebellion Burdy ran away from home at 13 (eq) and began to travel about the region looking for bars to apprentice herself at and embracing any adventure she finds along the way. She is currently 21 (eq) and has used the 8 years to build up more than a little experience in all of those fields.
