A region of the Dusts of Equus. They are east of the Dusty Mountains and farther east of the Western Dusts, and northeast of the Cake Islands. The preeminent city of the Eastern Dusts is Docktown, a city which survived the Catastrophe, although it greatly declined early in the Dark Age. The Eastern Dusts are generally somewhat more productive agriculturally than the Western Dusts, probably owing to very organized irrigation. The Red Mountain is located in the Eastern Dusts, and is the geographical locus of a mining industry. The northern boundary of the region is a huge expanse of Crystal Forest.
