This is a rough archive of Discolor's letters home, made here from information in emails for convenience.
- Sent 8th Gourds 3336:
"The letter, in small, mass-saving text, contains an account of what Discolor has been up to since she left. It doesn't explain why she left, though, referring to the actual incident in vague terms. The account is prefaced by an apology for her departure and an assurance that she's okay. She explains, again a bit vague about the details, that she now thinks she was wrong at the time to leave and should have instead talked, thought, and trusted more. She's not sure she could have done that with the knowledge she had at the time, though, for which she also apologies, and in any case she's now been caught up in something big and important which she probably wouldn't have been if she hadn't left. She misses her family and hopes that they, particularly her father, are well and apologizes again for leaving."
"Farrisia has now updated this to include the adventure with the Shadhavar in Gold Hill, up to resting in the mayor's house after getting back from the night chase and fight."
"She's also added a footnote including a description of Shadow and asking for confirmation of receipt when her family gets the chance."
"And an attempt at drawing Shadow"
"Discolor Art 4dF= 0+ 0 (-2+ 2 PER) = 0 PASS."
"[puts the letter in the brightly-colored envelope, seals it, and, just in case, addresses it]"
"sent to her father using the form she knew him in"

"This letter covers the period from part of the way through the 8th of Gourds to part of the way through the 16th of Gourds. In addition to covering events in general, it includes Discolor relating what she was told about changelings and the Catastrophe by Flint Spark; while she isn't certain how accurate that was, she thinks that it really ought to be considered and looked into. The letter also includes a brief note to Shining Glory saying that Akasha is interested in the Way of Moonlight and would like to, if possible, be kept abreast of developments in it."
