The Forgotten Weald is a large expanse of forest on the West Peninsula of Yore. It began growing soon after the extirpation of the crystal forest, quickly replacing it and retaking much of the newly cleared land. The weald is a wild and remote area, rarely traveled by ponies, and said by those few who have visited it to harbor a feeling of great sadness and a longing for something indefinable.
According to Dark Spark, the Forgotten Weald is at least a grade 3 haunted forest.
