A large expanse of semi-open forest on the West Peninsula of Yore. It began growing soon after the extirpation of the crystal forest, quickly replacing it and retaking the newly cleared land. It is a wild and remote area, rarely traveled by ponies, and said by those few who have visited it to harbor a feeling of great sadness and a longing for something indefinable.
