In Shadhavar cosmology, the Fount of Primordial Chaos is the entity from which all existence sprung, and to which dead worlds must be returned to be reborn (by En-Netsusep in a ceremony called "the Oblation of Worlds.")

En-Netsusep is described as the High Priest of Gods, and though himself considered a god, he in turn worships the Fount and officiates in ceremonies before it. However, if the Fount is a distinct intelligent entity or of it is simply part of the universe, is subject to disagreement among shadhavar theologians. In any case, the Fount of Primordial Chaos is not worshipped directly by Shadhavar and there are no credible claims of interaction between it and mortals. Indeed, it is not even described in Shadhavar mythology as having any personal interaction with En-Netsusep or other members of the Dread Pantheon either.

Note that the "Chaos" in the name referred to is chaos in the cosmogonical sense, not a reference specifically to the philosophical opposite of Order or law.
