Dear Friends, Hot Cathode reports the Harmony's anti-magion accelerator is operational. She wishes to test-fire it, as a warning to the White Army and an operational test. I am sceptical of their ability to understand or react appropriately to the warning, but could be mistaken. I've denied the request so far, but if you have a divergent opinion, it would be welcome.

I hope your mission in Trenchtown is meeting with success.

Maybe a window that always shows the unblemished outdoors (filtering out from its view anything artificial), or one that always shows the night sky and can be commanded to magnify its view so as to explore the sky as if through a telescope. These previously being gifts to Agra to have in his cave, so he doesn't forget about the outdoors.

Dear Bearers, I am very glad to hear that your mission was successful. I will take a more detailed look at your letter later. Unfortunately, the need for the Elements has suddenly become more urgent.

We are under attack from the forces of the White Island. It is unclear who, if anypony, is controlling the army of mutants attacking Teardrop Island. Our defenses are holding so far, and have inflicted massive causalities on the invaders, but they show no regard for their own lives, and scrying has revealed legions more on their way. We are presently evacuating the island and intend to fall back to the mainland, in the hope that a final confrontation with the enemy can be delayed until the Elements are available. I hope that this will allow us to avoid further deaths on either side, since I suspect that the actions of the attackers do not reflect their true will.

Please inform the AEC crew to redirect to Nevershyed, and to give the White Island and Teardrop Island a wide berth. The Provisional Government of Harmonia is currently negotiating a treaty with representatives of other Northern powers there. Expect only a brief stop before continuing to Edge via AEC. The AEC is to return to defend the Isle of Yore after dropping the Bearers off in Edge.

Dear Flint, Sorry for not writing you sooner. This is the first I've been away from the front lines since the attack. Grape and Elly are safe. Grape has been evacuated already, as have most of the noncombatants. We have had few casualties on our side, mainly in the first few minutes of the attack.
