A legendary race of bipedal ape-like creatures with a very fine, almost invisible coat and no tail. Their manes extended down the sides of their heads and they posessed dexterous hands. Scholars since the Royal Age have debated the substance behind the legends of these creatures, if indeed there is any. Scanty and ambiguous archaeological evidence was purportedly found in Dream Valley in Ponyland by Golden Age investigators; any remaining efforts were terminated by the Catastrophe.
