A noted exception to the social nature of ponies, Lonepone was a talented mage who became a hermit after completion of his studies at the Crooked Tower. His occasional interactions with others were notably beneficent, but he was never persuaded to stay long. He traveled extensively in the lowlands and, reportedly, in the abyss. He was last seen in 2518. What became of him is not known; a plausible speculation is that he simply died of natural causes while in some lonely place.
