The Right Reverend Minister-Twotongues-is-a-Heartless-Wretch-ius was an Archimandrite of New Canterlot during the reign of King Day Star. His birth name was Valid Point. Upon elevation to the archimandracy, he took the unusual regnal name Minister-Twotongues-is-a-Heartless-Wretch-ius to criticize the current Prime Minister at the time of his elevation, whose isolationist stance the archimandrite believed to threaten the lives of refugees wishing to settle in New Equestria.

Monuments in New Canterlot are always blessed by the archimandrite, and have an inscription to that effect. The words translating as "Minister Twotongues is a heartless wretch" thus appear on several monuments in New Canterlot, including a statue of Minister Twotongues erected by his supporters on the occasion of his retirement from politics.

Though New Equestrian historians have generally sided with the non-isolationists, including the King and the minority in parliament, Minister-Twotongues-is-a-Heartless-Wretch-ius' politicized choice of regnal name and insistence on exercising his right to bless and inscribe numerous things in and around polling stations has been looked on less favorably by them.
