Background Aegia, or Gee as she’s often called, was owned by a trainer who specialized in irregular matches with a focus on wrestling. Although the fatality rate was normally very low for nonsanc fights, Aegia’s ability to crush less durable mons in her coils was a tactic favoured by her trainer. Eventually this turned the other members of their invitational tournament against her and they conspired with one of the criminal gangs. Aegia was hacked to override her directive against killing humans and puppeteered to kill her owner, crushing her with her snake body as she’d done with so many mons. Concerned she would be terminated for being ‘defective’, she sought help and ended up at the Network’s Fort.

Appearance She possesses the lower body and tail of a snake, and upper body of a human. Her hair is a mass of writhing snakes. Although her kind draws obvious inspiration from greek gorgons, the face is rather pretty, as the company that designed them discovered in focus group testing that a scaly, hideous visage could hurt sales. Her scales are a dark green colour, with diamondback pattern. She wears a crop top to comply with the social norms regarding humanoid bodies.

Personality Aegia is rather vain about her appearance and always carries along a mirror. Although almost everyone insists on calling her Gee, she hates being called that even though it’s done to tease her. She regrets having killed so many mons while she belonged to her trainer, believing she didn’t have a choice, and is supportive of the network’s goal to restore free will to others. And is generally suspicious of methods to force or coerce mons into doing others’ will.

Abilities Aegia has the size and strength of her mon type, as well as the advantages of her snake body, such as being a great climber and swimmer. The mass of snakes for hair is not entirely functional constantly, but their eyes can be used to grant vision, including thermal. And they are capable of biting, though not of producing venom with any application outside of battlesport simulation. She has learned how to hack electronics from other mons at the Fort to handle encryption and decryption. Her personal hobbies are sculpting and pottery, and she’s learned to play harp and flute.
