Background: The twins were previously part of a tribe of raiders living in the wastelands outside shareholder civilization. They have no living memory of their existence before it, but both know they originated from within shareholder society, and were built somewhat recently (by mon standards) and have survived a few factory resets following critical damage. They actively participated in the robbing that their owners committed, on the assumption monkind must obey any command. Eventually, the clans, caravans and settlements their owners preyed upon had enough. Banding together, they stormed the raiders’ fort and slaughtered all inside. Cassie feigned death after her sister Polly sustained fatal damage, waiting for the avengers to move on before taking the body of Polly and dragging her along on her trek through the desert. Far away from their previous home, some mons of Weatherby’s encountered the desperate duo and returned them to the Fort for repair. Grateful for their rescue, and with no human owners from the tribe known to have survived, they turned to Weatherby as their new owner.
Appearance: The twins appear as blue skinned humans, with parts of their body occasionally emitting a ‘twinkle’. Both mimic the dress and hairstyle of classical Greek women. Though normally hovering, they posses legs and can walk. They have a rather ‘Moe’ appearance and disposition. Each wears a heart-shaped friendship locket that is split, the separate halves being the only clear indicator which one is which.
Personality: The twins do not have much personality outside the one they share. They are friendly, if a bit aloof. They can be giddy and a bit flirtatious to others. Their opinions are always aligned, owing to the single, shared mind and experiences. They also take turns speaking, and frequently complete one another’s sentences. Despite living among free mons, the twins are not used to not taking orders from humans, and seem more resistant to the belief of mon self-determination than most. They will act autonomously when not commanded, but their recent experience living in a collective hierarchy, and their dependence on each other may explain their rejection of individualism. While most others are treated kindly, the twins display an even greated affinity to each other. They display a deep philial bond for each other to the outside. They have in the past gone to considerable lengths to protect the other, and appear deeply unhappy or distressed when the other is harmed or separated.
Abilities: The twins’ shared link is a constantly duplicating memory, over a high bandwith connection. It allows the two of them to experience and know exactly what the other does. Their built-in hover propulsion affords a fair amount of mobility. In combat, their abilities are centred around distracting and confusing enemies. While not limited in the nonsanc circuit, their regular moves include duplicating themselves, mind reading to anticipate the opponent’s attack, a teleport, and an axe attack. Their main element is aether.
