Vintage mons are mons over fifty years old, or any mon not made by uMon. A Vintage Mon Certificate is required to register a vintage mon with uMon; to obtain a VMC, proof of Active AI Safety Measures installation is required. Nonprofit Organizations (e.g. mon museums) are eligible to apply to the uMon License Fee waiver program for vintage mons kept in an inactive state.
For non-uMon mons, alternate license authorities may exist and have their own fee schedules to support the administration of their mon licenses.
