A village in the Red Mountain valley of the Eastern Dusts. It is an isolated colony for the sufferers of the incurable disease hoofrot. It is closed to everypony except those with the disease and those who take care of them; the House of the Watcher among the Stricken, a tiny monastery and shrine, is there. (Most of the monastics are hoofrot sufferers from other places.) The valley is agriculturally self-sufficient, and supports itself by the efforts of wandering mendicants and the production of craft items, which are sold from the roads. The population is 244. The location is 147°05'17"E 3°39'37"N.
