Sulfur Well is a mining settlement on the Isle of Stonepipes, population 280. Its main industry is the support of sulfur mines on the Yellow Mountain. The settlement has been repeatedly destroyed by volcanic activity and abandoned, only to be resettled later. It is currently undergoing a population boom in response to increased demand for sulfur. There are reportedly tensions between the miners and religious separatists on the Yellow Mountain.
