Formerly a large town on the westmost point of the main Isle of Yore, now a ruin. In the early Dark Age, a proto-version of beliefs that would develop into the religion of the Overseen was popular there, mostly focused on the veneration of Celestia and the sun. An abbey was built just southeast of the town.
As the crystal forest progressed in its coverage over Yore, Sunshine became increasingly isolated and the population dwindled, many of them leaving for other parts of Yore. Finally, a burst of rapid expansion by the crystal forest led to the sudden collapse of the remaining community and the final abandonment of the area. The town was subsequently covered in crystal forest for centuries, and almost entirely forgotten.
