The West Ward is one of the seven electoral wards of Docktown. It has been continuously inhabited since time immemorial. Today, it is the most throughly excavated region of Docktown, with no significant buried regions of the city remaining covered. It has been extensively reworked over the centuries, and is the second-most populous ward.
The West Ward used to contain Docktown's city hall, but it was moved Downtown in 3304.
Eastern Ponyland University is officially located in the West Ward, but more of its campus is actually in the Old City Ward of Docktown.
