The Nemu land is a region in the Western Yonggan lands, characterized by steppe in the West, rolling hills and forests in the South, giving way to mountains in the East and North. It is the homeland of the Nara clan and remained in their possession until their exile after the Earth Kingdom civil war. Today, the steppe portion of the Nemu land is the territory of Abka nomads, some of the southern forests were cleared for agriculture and given to Central Earth Kingdom colonists, and the rest was divided up between Yonggan groups loyal to the Hao Ting dynasty.

Some important Yonggan ceremonial sites remain in the Nemu Land, and are in active use. The Imperial Hunting Lodge used by the Great Ri is on an area formerly on the border of the Nemu land with the Dukedom of Wei; it is now the palace of the governor. The Ancestral Tombs of the Great Ri are located in the Nemu Land, as well.
