Qin Town, one of several settlements in the Earth Kingdom named for Qin the Great, is a city on the Great Qin Road in the far North of Yongganguo. It was founded during the Earth Kingdom Civil War. When the Great Qin Road was built, many caravansarais and roadhouses were built in remote areas, but occasionally whole towns were founded; such is the case for Qin Town.
Qin Town is located on one of several waterfalls over the Northern Divide, and overlooks a Nitanese city in the lowlands north of the cliffs. A switchback road connects them, but there are no locks, as the river associated is not navigable by large boats much south of Qin Town.
It is a significant station for the Yonggan National postal service, where mail is exchanged between settlements in the Gulf of Rong and Carki-Khan mountains, among other places.
