Fillitas (or possibly Fillytas; see below) of Ponylon was an early pony philosopher and mathemetician, a near-contemporary of Aristrottle. She flourished some time around 600-500 BE. She is claimed by classical historians of all three Pony tribes but was probably an Earth Pony.
Fillitas is said to have reformed the system of pony numeracy, creating a base-thirty positional number system, allegedly by multiplying the first four prime numbers.
A rhetorician Fillytas is also mentioned an ancient documents. She supposedly dropped dead of exhaustion while attempting to enumerate all the grammatical and logical errors in a political speech. Classical historians believed Fillytas the Rhetorician to be the same person as Fillitas the Mathemetician, but it is not known with absolute certainty.
