Background
(((still need to work on this initial part)))
The Arachne design was only somewhat recently re-discovered by uMon, deep within their vault of previously-unused designs. After evaluation of the design, the primary reasons it had been shelved without ever seeing production (several more promising mon designs being rolled out at the time, the debatable value of a mon artist, and the use of expensive materials and technology unsuitable for mass-production) were all irrelevant in the current age. That and the keen interest of one of uMon's more notable shareholders resulting in the limited production of a single mon from the rare design.
Since her production Arachne tried to get a foothold in a multitude of fine arts, but her greatest runaway success in the art world came after an attack on one of the galleries she was showcasing her foray into a new art style known as steganographic neopointalism, the style of paining using pixel-like dots while simultaneously embedding programmed experiences into the work so that they might stimulate not just sight, but sound, smell, etc. The annual infoTronics Premier Exhibition was being held in Tranquility Town with Arachne and some of her friends in attendance. Arya Tang, president of infoTronics, arrived as a guest judge and was nearly attacked in a plot hatched by rogue Modder's Union members, utilizing the new art style to deploy malicious patches that turned mons hostile toward her. Through the efforts of Arachne and her friends the attack was thwarted, though the exhibition naturally had to be postponed as a result.
As a result of the attack Arachne convinced her owner to pull her paintings from the exhibition and to arrange for a private one, instead, to highlight her works. To further improve the exhibition, Arachne prepared multiple music pieces and sculptures to turn it into more of a tour de force of her talents. To her surprised, not only did Arya Tang accept an invitation to attend, but she brought multiple other VIPs, in part due to equal parts gratitude and curiosity regarding the mon that helped thwart the plot against her life.
Afterwards, Arachne's reputation would only soar higher and higher as she continued to master and redefine every aspect of the artistic world.
Appearance
Primarily physically defined by her slim, lithe body and somewhat large head. She sports six arms, all dedicated to a different craft in her ever-growing gallery of art and music. She also has two sets of eyes, the lower ones reflecting a rainbow of hues (and capable of seeing in a far wider range than the visual spectrum) while the upper set are slate-gray (and capable of seeing in a very high-definition monochrome).
It's not entirely clear what kind of mon she originally was, or even if she was a custom job from the start, but she's certainly had a lot of work done to improve her capabilities.
Personality
Her owner's known to be sympathetic to Weatherby's cause, much to the dismay of Arache. Despite everything, she's a traditionalist and doesn't see mon independence as realistic. As a self-styled "Renaissance Mon", she is constantly reinventing herself and expanding her artistic interests. Literally does a bit of everything. I want to write short stories, poems, compose music, drawings (might only simulate this part), short monologues or plays, inventions, etc. An unending stream of self-reinvention. Maybe even fashion.
Abilities
Really good at painting, sculpture, writing, composition, music (piano primarily), and architecture.
